I've been a Photoshop user for much longer than I have been a video editor. As with other interests of mine, Photoshop became a useful skill in the editing world.

 

Drawing and photography gave me the motivation to learn Photoshop. After Effects and Illustrator came later, once I got deeper into video editing.
